Exploring possibilities and planning for the future!

On 30 June, Sri KL welcomed representatives from 41 universities and educational institutions from Malaysia and around the world to our Great Hall.
Students had the valuable opportunity to connect directly with university representatives, explore academic programmes and learn more about admissions, scholarships, campus life and future career pathways.

From Trinity College Melbourne and RMIT University to University of Sunderland, Adelaide University, IMU University, HELP University, Sunway College and many more, the day opened doors to exciting opportunities ahead.

A meaningful step in helping our students make informed, confident decisions as they shape their futures.

Drop Everything and Read!

Although we’ve been busy preparing for our Charity Concert, we have not forgotten to keep learning too! Today, SriKL Primary pressed pause on their busy schedules to celebrate the joy of reading during the DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) event! From exciting adventures, magical worlds and fascinating facts, every page opened the door to new knowledge.

It was wonderful to see everyone immersed in their favourite books and sharing the joy that reading brings.

Here’s to discovering new stories and making reading a daily adventure!

Bahasa Melayu Public Speaking Competition 2026 (Years 8 & 9)

Confidence and language skill took centre stage on the 2nd of July as 20 of our Year 8 & 9 students showcased their public speaking skills in Bahasa Melayu!

On 29 June 2026, Sri Kuala Lumpur International Secondary School proudly installed the Prefectorial Board 2026/27 during the school assembly, officiated by our CEO, Mr Hanif Merican.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our outgoing Head Prefect, Emily Sia Yi Ting, and the 2025/26 executive board for their outstanding service and dedication. Congratulations to our new Head Prefect, Caelan Lee Yu Jie, and the newly appointed prefects as they take on the responsibility of leading with integrity, commitment, and purpose.

A day to celebrate excellence, dedication and the remarkable achievements of our Sri KL students.
Held on 27 June, this year’s Speech & Prize-Giving Day recognised outstanding accomplishments in academics, leadership, sports, the performing arts and service to the school community, alongside our top Cambridge IGCSE achievers.
A special congratulations to Chee Sheng Zhe, recipient of the prestigious Tan Sri Dato’ Ir Othman Merican Award (All-Round Outstanding Student of the Year) for his exceptional achievements and exemplary character.
We are also incredibly proud to celebrate another historic milestone: Sri KL has been recognised as Malaysia’s top-performing Cambridge IGCSE school for the third consecutive year.

Secondary Teacher’s Day

On the 12th of June, our Secondary School celebrated Teacher’s Day with the sweetest Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-themed event!

Inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this year’s theme reminded us that teachers are the secret ingredient behind every student’s success. Just as a touch of magic transforms an ordinary chocolate bar into something extraordinary, our teachers nurture, guide, and inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves. Their patience, dedication, and encouragement help us discover our potential and turn our dreams into reality.

The day began with our principal and dedicated teachers reciting the Teacher’s Pledge, reflecting their commitment and passion for educating future generations. The celebration was then filled with vibrant performances, from energetic dance routines to captivating musical acts, and finally a hearty luncheon was prepared for them after all the celebrations.

To all our wonderful teachers — thank you so much for your dedication, patience, and unwavering support. Your guidance continues to inspire us and shape us into better human beings.
